Hola!
The good news...I got my first sonogram! The lady actually told me I had drunk too much water, and then we found out I'm still sort of tilted, and she kept hitting my stomach with the ultrasound thing to try to get the baby to wake up and flip over. I told her that if the baby took after Dad she'd have to keep trying. :) However, after much manuevering, we got pictures! It was actually really cool; I could see the heart beating on the screen (161 bpm) and the brain inside the baby's head (it's got some room left). And legs and arms and stuff. They did their nuchal measure thingies, and our odds of Downs and Trimosy dropped significantly. We also have a nasal bone! I have another doctor's appointment tomorrow to try to decipher some of the other results. No word on what type of baby for a few more weeks though.

In the "medium" news department, they set my due date back to 3/13, rather than 3/8, so I'm not as close to the second trimester as I originally thought. Week 13, (aka baby Nutter Butter) starts this Saturday while we are on a plane. Technically this fudges the "do everything in the second trimester" rule a little bit, although not too bad considering we planned the trip pre-Junior (or Juniorette.) It seems to be doing just fine in there though, so no big worries in that department.
More tomorrow...
