Greetings!
We've had some technical difficulties, but Sean has managed to fix our storage hard drive and is now trying to back up everything, I think. And in other exciting news, we went for a 3D/4D ultrasound today and got new baby pictures and a DVD where munchkin is all filled in. The technician spent the first couple minutes explaining that most babies are facing the wrong way and don't do much, then was very impressed by how active the little missy was. Fair warning to mom and dad, I guess. :) The technician also confirmed that she (still very much a girl) is developing well and we got some really good pics. :)
Next week should be super exciting with a trip to Mom's for Thanksgiving (yum!), Black Friday in Massachusetts, then the baby shower in Vermont is one week from today!!!!! I can't wait to see everyone and will definitely (probably, really need to remember to) bring the new pics and the DVD. Sean and I have rented an SUV just in case we need the extra storage, especially because Benson is coming up with us. We would have paid almost as much for his "room" as we did for ours, and I'm sure he'll love Thanksgiving at my mom's too. :) He will not go to the party though (I imagine the hotel frowns on that), so he'll have to hang out with Sean on Saturday. Then when we get back it's Benson's birthday, Sean's birthday, and Christmas! I guess the calm before the storm will not be until January/February--and we'll have to make sure to get our taxes done early this year. :)
This week baby weighs a pound and a half and is about 13½ inches long, apparently the length of that recorder I had in middle school that mom couldn't wait to get rid of. Or, for the guys, the length of a Size 13 boot. Last week she was the size of a football, and she's supposed to just keep going gangbusters. :)
I've also included a "belly pic," kind of, from when we were down in Florida for Grandma Jane's 80th birthday. We do have another one that's just Sean and I, but that is part of the "hard drive recovery" we (Sean) are still working on.
Thank you for the great update!!! The 3D photo is so amazing. Have a safe trip up this way. (who's taking care of Spaz)????
