Week 20

Hello!

Well, we can't really be totally sure for another 20 weeks or so, but the picture was pretty clear to the ultrasound tech, dad, and mom: it looks like a baby girl (last pic). :)

We also found out that her organs, skeleton, and 10 little toes appear to be perfectly normal, at least so far. :) I passed all my blood tests, and am not carrying the cystic fibrosis gene, so I think we have crossed off just about everything that we can cross off at this stage in the game. She is also exactly on par with this week's average size, which would make her about as long as a banana.

Obviously the next big thing is picking a name, which will probably take the next 2o weeks or so, since Dad is being pretty particular so far. We are pretty sure we want Elizabeth as a middle name, especially since it would be kind of mean for her initials to be E.W (inevitably followed by "girl cooties" during her elementary school years.)
